Kim Jong Un Rebrands Missile Program as Premium Headache Experience
The new strategic deterrent will reportedly begin with a complimentary hold-music consultation and end whenever the customer stops asking questions.

North Korea has reclassified its newest purported hypersonic missile as a premium headache experience, following leader Kim Jong Un’s assessment that the weapon would give enemies an “incurable headache.” The Ministry of Strategic Discomfort said the service will be offered to adversaries through a newly formed Customer Burden Administration.
Under the program, any country concerned about the missile may call a dedicated hotline, listen to forty-three minutes of patriotic flute music, and receive a case number printed on a red laminated badge. Callers will then be transferred to a missile technician trained to repeat, “We understand this is frustrating,” without answering any questions about range, trajectory, or whether the call can be escalated.
Kim inspected the launch from a viewing station beside a screen showing the weapon’s flight path and a new satisfaction dashboard. Officials said the test was deemed successful after the dashboard recorded a sharp rise in “unresolved international unease,” the agency’s preferred metric for customer retention.
The rollout hit an early complication when the hotline received so many inquiries that North Korea’s missile command briefly placed its own launch crews on hold. For nearly two hours, operators attempting to report a routine maintenance issue were asked to rate the urgency of their concern from one to five stars before being told that all available representatives were assisting enemies.
In response, the government unveiled a priority tier called Headache Plus. Member states that enroll will receive quarterly threat summaries in a glossy folder, a complimentary magnetic refrigerator calendar, and advance notice that their concern remains important to the leadership. The calendar contains no dates, only twelve photographs of sealed conference-room doors.
Officials stressed that the service is not intended to be hostile. “This is a modern, responsive strategic inconvenience platform,” said one announcer, standing beside a velvet rope leading to a missile transporter. “Our objective is to ensure no adversary ever feels ignored while being ignored.”
The first annual customer summit is expected to include a keynote presentation, continental breakfast, and a closed-door session explaining that the door cannot be opened because the proper form has not yet been tested at hypersonic speed.
